The Catholic University of America

Words From Our Chaplain

September 2016 Reflection

In April, 2017, The Catholic University of America Council of the Knights of Columbus will celebrate thirty years of service to the campus, the Church, the nation, and the world.  It is not easy to be a Knight.  Living as a Catholic Gentleman requires that we seek Christ in all things.  All that we do as Knights is a reflection of who we are as Catholics.  In word and deed, we live our faith in everyday life – on campus, off campus, in our families, among our friends – in service to all.

God offers this opportunity to us and we Knights have responded to the call.  We look forward during this anniversary year to welcome many new members who will experience what we have.  May we live the legacy of brother Knights who have preceded us and most especially, follow the example of the Founder of the Knights of Columbus, the Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney.

Vivat Jesus!
